March is our 1st trip to Disney World. I'm overwhelmed, but your site is helping! Will Disney send me paperwork on my reservations booked through them, or should I print everything on the website. For example - when and how will I get our tickets?

How exciting!!  Yes, they will send you a confirmation of you reservation.  They will also send you confirmations of any changes you have made to your reservation.  If you haven't already set up your dining reservations or if you want to go to any Character Meals, call (407)WDW-DINE.

Generally, about thirty days away from your trip, you will get a packet. Last year we received luggage tags.  Loved them!!  You will not receive your tickets, however. Don't fret.  When you arrive at your resort and check in, you will receive a Welcome Packet, inside the packet you will find all the activities scheduled during your stay.  This will include park hours, gift shop hours, and all sorts of little tid bits.  You will also receive a Key to the World  card.  What's that you say??? It's your resort key, and your tickets. Yes your tickets.  It looks like a credit card, and has everyone's name on each card.  Be sure to sign the card, especially if you are going to allow charging privileges on the card.

When you arrive at the park, you will put the card into the turnstiles, and then you will need to place your pointer finger on your right hand on the turnstile. The machine will read it, and know who you are.  So no one can take your card and use it to enter parks but you.  It's a concept called biometrics.

    Have a fantastic trip.
