Going in March staying at Port Orleans Riverside. Reviews are unfavorable concerning furnishings & condition of rooms. Please advise. Should we request a specific building & room location for quiet & convenience to buses?

    Hi Mary,

My sister and her family recently stayed at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and found this rustic resort quite charming.  As a family of five, they stayed in the cottages at Alligator Bayou, and her children particularly enjoyed the recreational facilities on Ol' Man Island.

If I were staying at this delightful Disney resort in the near future, I would request a room in buildings 14-16 of Alligator Bayou because you can't beat this location for its easy access to the resort's primary bus stop.  If the mansions of Magnolia Bend are more to your liking, I would request a room in Magnolia Terrace.  It has a bus stop right out front and easy access to the main theme pool out back.  Of the two locations, I would guess that the rooms in Alligator Bayou would be slightly more quiet because they are more secluded.

March is fast approaching.  I'll be hoping you have a truly magical vacation!
