Ann, I know from experience that many questions arise when deciding to book a magical Disney World vacation and there are just so many options when it comes to accommodations and dining, not to mention the issue of deciding how many days your family should plan to visit. Well, you've come to the right place!
Have you checked out the official WDW website for ideas on
hotels? Here, you can browse all of the offerings and look at high resolution photos to get a feel for each resort. It really boils down to a matter of personal taste and also your budget. There are 3 pricing levels among the WDW hotels: Value, Moderate, and Deluxe so once you determine which one of these will best suit your budget we can easily narrow down the options.
Same applies to
dining. There are literally HUNDREDS of places to eat around the resort from table service to counter service, right down to food courts and grab 'n' go kiosks. The value resorts will each have a food court area while the moderates will feature both food courts and table service options. Bumping up to the deluxe level, you will find even find fine signature options.
I personally like to spend a full week at WDW, but have also vacationed for less days. To really have the chance to settle in and get a good feel for all the resort has to offer, I think at least 5 days is ideal.
Once you decide on your travel dates, hotel category, and length of stay, be sure to write back to me, Amanda F., and I will happily provide my opinions and tips! In the meantime, go ahead and order a
FREE vacation planning DVD as it will give you a broad look at all of the offerings!
