March with free dining or late April? Saving $ is nice but not the only deciding point. I am concerned about crowds and weather in March. This is our 2nd trip... 2009 we went in April and it was perfect! Family of 4, DD's 8 & 11. Any insight?

    Hi Sherri,

Since Easter is in April this coming year, I vote you give a March Walt Disney World vacation a try.  Keep in mind that if you visit Disney during the weeks before or after April 8th (Easter) that you are likely to encounter theme parks at high capacity.

March is my favorite time of year to visit Disney and the free dining offer makes it even more alluring.  You can't beat the weather in March, in my opinion. The days are typically sunny and then at night you'll probably be glad for a sweater.  I love escaping the frozen north in March for a delightful early taste of spring in Orlando.  If you time it right, you'll get to enjoy the beautiful Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival too.

Good luck to you as you make plans for your 2012 Walt Disney World vacation.
