Hi, in March 2020 our family will be stating at The Cabins at Disney Fort Wilderness. We rented bikes (outside company) to enjoy the grounds and trails. Reading now that access to the Wildness Lodge and most trails will be closed. Is that correct?

    Howdy Kerstin!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Thank you for sharing your question with us!  March is a beautiful month to visit the Walt Disney World Resort!

Your vacation is “Just Around the Riverbend”!  The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort are beautiful and relaxing.  I just checked out the status on the bike trails located between The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.  These trails are temporarily closed.  You will be able to use your bikes throughout the resort but not on the trails until the construction is complete.  We do not currently have a date that the trails will reopen.

You are going to the Walt Disney World Resort at the perfect time!  Mickey Mouse will debut in his very first attraction at the beginning of March!  Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway will be a zany adventure with Mickey and the gang!  I know this will be a blast for the entire family!

The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival will be in full bloom!  This festival is perfect for all ages.  There will be beautiful topiary displays, outdoor kitchens, and so much more.  One of our family favorites is the Garden Rocks Concert Series.  Get ready to tap your feet to some throwback beats!

Your vacation is just days away!  If you have any more questions, please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Happy packing, Kerstin!

    See Ya Real Soon,
