Hi Marc! A friend of mine will be staying at Villas at Wilderness Lodge in a mere 135 days. She's hoping to have a room with a view of Wishes. Is there such a thing? Which section should she request? Thanks

    Hi Lucinda!

My son and I love the Wilderness Lodge Resort!  We have stayed there three times and we both love the way it makes you feel like you are in the Pacific Northwest!  While I have stayed in the main building of the Wilderness Lodge Resort three times I have never stayed at the Wilderness Lodge Villas which is a Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Resort so I had to enlist the help of a few of my fellow Moms and Dads who have stayed in the Wilderness Lodge Villas (special thanks to Angelo, Mona Leigh, Kirsten, and Kay).  Unfortunately, the Wilderness Lodge Villas are surrounded by woods so there is no view of Wishes from these rooms, but you can walk to the the Wilderness Lodge Boat Dock and see the Electrical Water Pageant every night.  There are some rooms in the Wilderness Lodge Resort where you can catch glimpses of the the higher, bigger fireworks bursts of Wishes.  They are on the seventh floor (Concierge rooms on the North side) and some courtyard/pool view rooms on the far end of the North side buildings.  There really is no good place to see Wishes in it's entirety at the Wilderness Lodge Resort because of the tall trees that surround this Resort.  I would recommend that your friend try the beach at the Polynesian Resort if she wants to see Wishes from outside the Magic Kingdom (I have done this multiple times).

I hope that your friend has a magical vacation in Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
