Hello, Mar 8 we're visiting epcot and have reservations @ T rex for 6pm. How much time should we allow to arrive on time? What would be the best way to get there?

    Hi Daniel,

I'm happy to assist you in your Walt Disney World vacation planning!

There are a few different ways to get to Downtown Disney from Epcot, and I'd suggest you take the route most appealing to your family. It's important to note there is not a direct route from Epcot to Downtown Disney.

Heading out the back of Epcot's World Showcase through the exits of International Gateway, you'll walk towards the Epcot Resort Hotels. From each Resort Hotel you can catch a bus towards Downtown Disney.

Another option is to take a bus from the front of Epcot to Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter or Riverside, and then transfer via boat to Downtown Disney. This will take longer, but will allow for a very scenic and relaxing trip!

A third option, and to some is the quickest, is to take a bus to Disney's Pop Century Resort, then a bus to Downtown Disney. It's the least scenic of the three options, but may shave a few minutes of your travel time.

Because there are many factors which could affect Disney Transportation travel times, including time of year and crowds, I always suggest leaving 1.5 hours before your Advanced Dining Reservation at Downtown Disney.

Any of the three options I provided should fit within the 1.5 hour travel time, and arriving early would allow you to shop and explore Downtown Disney prior to dinner.

I hope my tips have helped, Daniel, and have a DINO-MITE time at T-Rex!
