Hi there, Bethany! Welcome to planDisney!
I know it may not seem like it quite yet, but your Walt Disney World vacation will be here before you know it! I bet it is going to feel like you blinked, and suddenly you're off to enjoy Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Celebration with your family. And what a party it is! You’ll absolutely love visiting during this special time with the extra sprinklings of pixie dust all around Walt Disney World in honor of The World's Most Magical Celebration.
At this time, Walt Disney World is not sending printed maps to Guests in the mail. I know this may not be the answer you were hoping for, but you can still access a park map to start planning your fabulous vacation. The My Disney Experience app offers a digital map to explore all four theme parks, the Disney Resort Collection hotels, Disney Springs, and more. You can even use it to get turn-by-turn directions and see the latest updates on standby wait times. Now, to use the map feature, just follow these simple steps:
- First, log into your My Disney Experience mobile app.
- Next, in the bottom navigation, click on the button that looks like an upside-down raindrop (it will be the second button from the left).
- From there, you can see the map with current wait times listed. You can adjust the park you’re viewing by clicking on “Filter” in the upper left corner.
Once you’ve arrived at Walt Disney World for your vacation, the front desk at your Disney Resorts Collection hotel will have printed maps for you if you’d like to keep one in your bag. You’ll also find maps near each theme park's entrance and at Disney Springs. I like to pick one up to have handy just in case my phone dies.
Bethany, I do hope you have a wonderful time on your upcoming vacation! If you have any questions before you take off, or even once you have arrived, please don't hesitate to reach back out! We here at planDisney just love to help our fellow guests make the most of their Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Until next time,
Diana
