Hi there, Simon, and a warm welcome to planDisney. It sounds like you might be deciding on which Disney Resort hotel would best suit your needs.
Usually, my first planning step for our
Walt Disney World trips is setting a budget - you can be as extravagant or budget conscious as you like at Disney, and having a number in mind helps focus your search. I then think about which
Disney Resort hotel will work best for us -
transport options, amenities available, and proximity to the Theme Parks all come into play here.
I recommend viewing the
Little Book of Magic to help locate of all the Disney Resort hotels. You can view all the Disney Resort Hotels or filter for your choice on an interactive map also available through the
My Disney Experience App. I found these helpful in getting my bearings for the Theme Parks' distance from particular Disney Resort hotels. Please know that as a Disney Resort hotel Guest, you can use
Early Theme Park Entry Hours. It's a perk worth using as it's usually a much quieter time, with shorter ride wait times.
Once you are ready, did you know the
Walt Disney World Travel Company offers wonderful direct deals, including flights? The Magic Ticket from the U.K. includes Park Hopper (which means you can access any Disney Park after 2 p.m.) and many other benefits.
Simon, I hope this information has helped you, and I wish you blue skies and sunshine for your Walt Disney World Adventure. Louise
