is there a map showing distance between attractions

    Hey Mark-

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. While there is no official map detailing the distances between attractions there are ways of finding this specific information out.

Disney Dad Tip: For distances around the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks you may create a custom map on Google Maps or use the handy website. Essentially the farthest points across the Magic Kingdom Park are close to 0.60 miles extending from the Walt Disney World Railroad Fantasyland Station to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (of course you could just take the train), Epcot’s main entrance to the American Pavilion is approximate 0.80 miles, Disney’s Hollywood Studios greatest distance is 0.50 miles from The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror to Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park is also 0.50 miles from Dinosaur to Kilimanjaro Safaris. The links above are to current maps of the theme parks so you may plan from home.

Make no mistake you could easily put 8-10 miles on your tennis shoes walking around. It’s great exercise and there is so much to see. The time it takes to walk will depend on crowds and the pace of the Guests in your party. Remember, there is magic around every turn.

Mark, I hope this helps you have a fantastic trip in August.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
