It’s a small world after all, Karen, and I’m so glad you found your way to planDisney!
I love your idea to start mapping out plans for your granddaughter’s October adventures at the
Walt Disney World Resort! I share a passion for the Disney Parks with my parents, and I understand how special that connection can be. There’s no place I’d rather be than walking down Main Street, U.S.A. with my family!
Unfortunately, park maps aren’t currently being mailed to Guests, but I have another great solution for you! You can actually print a guide map for
all four theme parks from your home printer! If you’d like to have even more room to make notes and add comments, my dear friend and fellow Panelist,
Julie P., has another great suggestion – she recommends printing the maps on A3-sized sheets. She even likes to add stickers, which could make for a fun project with your granddaughter, too!
Theme park maps are updated seasonally, so you can find the links to these PDF files on the main webpage for each theme park. Look under the main picture, to the left-hand side, and you’ll see “Location, Walt Disney World Resort,” followed by a link for Guest Services, and to the right of that, a link to that park’s guide map.
Here are the current links to the guide maps for all four theme parks:
--
Magic Kingdom Park--
Disney’s Hollywood Studios--
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park
--
EpcotIf you prefer not to print out the guide maps, you and your granddaughter can also browse the theme parks by logging in to the
My Disney Experience mobile app. My kids love checking it out even when we’re at home! You and your granddaughter can view any plans you’ve already made under “My Plans,” where you can view current
resort,
park, and
dining reservations.
Last but not least, I recommend helping your granddaughter make a fun countdown calendar – my Mouseketeers love making paper-chain countdowns that they can tear off each night to help visualize how many more sleeps until we escape to the magic of our happy place!
I hope this helps, Karen! Wishing you and your granddaughter a pixie-dusted planning adventure!
