Hello there, Kristine!
Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you’re gearing up for an unforgettable visit to
The Most Magical Place on Earth! May is such a great time to visit, with warm days, cooler nights, and all the gorgeous spring blooms. You’ll also be there during the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, a celebration featuring topiaries, outdoor kitchens, and stunning floral displays. One of my favorite ways to
count down to a Disney trip is by periodically checking the Disney x Citizen countdown clock in the
My Disney Experience app, watching ride-inspired Disney movies like Haunted Mansion, Swiss Family Robison, and Pirates of the Caribbean and searching YouTube for a retro Walt Disney World Vacation Planning video to scratch my nostalgia itch.
To help you get ready for all the dining options at Magic Kingdom, you can find a helpful map on the
Magic Kingdom page of the Walt Disney World website. In the automatically playing video banner, you can click "Map," which directs you to the interactive map that lets you scroll around online, or click the download icon below the map to open a
PDF version. This is perfect for printing at home and circling all the spots you want to try before you even set foot in the park.
Kristine, if I may, I’d love to share some of my favorite dining spots in Magic Kingdom! The
Crystal Palace has a delightful character dining experience for a memorable sit-down breakfast. But if you’re looking for a quicker option,
Gaston’s Tavern is perfect. You won’t want to miss the massive cinnamon roll, and I suggest ordering an extra side of icing (because why not?). When lunchtime rolls around,
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe is a great spot for Tex-Mex favorites, while
Pinocchio Village Haus serves up delicious flatbreads. For dinner, grab a quick bite from
Casey’s Corner for classic corn dogs or Sleepy Hollow for waffle sandwiches. If you’re after an iconic Disney dining experience, make a reservation at
Cinderella’s Royal Table or
Be Our Guest Restaurant, and be sure to “try the Grey Stuff; it’s delicious!” For a sweet treat, visit
Main Street Confectionery for create-your-own popcorn or cool off with a DOLE Whip from
Aloha Isle after a Pirates of the Caribbean adventure.
I hope this answers your question, Kristine! If you have more questions or need more recommendations,
make like Tarzan and swing by anytime!
See you real soon!
