Hiya Gina!
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for reaching out with your question. I'm so excited to help you today.
I'm a big fan of planning ahead, so I completely understand wanting a visual plan before your trip to Walt Disney World Resort. Having a map to reference is a great idea. This will let you see where attractions and restaurants are located so you can plan your day. This approach helps you maximize your time, minimize unnecessary walking, and avoid zigzagging across the park, because there is nothing magical about sore feet.
If you download the
My Disney Experience app, you can view maps for each theme park. The app is also perfect for getting directions while you're in the park and checking real-time wait times. For the most efficient plan, I like to check wait times before my visit to decide which attractions to prioritize early and which to save for later.
You can also use the app to order food, which is the best way to skip lines and enjoy your meal faster. I love being able to browse menus in advance to ensure there's something for everyone in the group. While checking the maps, take note of dining locations and decide which ones you'd like to try. This will help when it's time to make reservations. There are so many fantastic options! I always recommend making a shortlist. My personal favorites are
Splitsville Dining Room at
Disney Springs and
50's Prime Time Café at
Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Gina, I hope this information helps and that you have a magical time planning your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World! Please don't hesitate to reach out with any other questions.

Michelle
