Ahoy there, Betty! Welcome aboard the friendly decks of planDisney!
I see you're looking at setting sail aboard the
Disney Dream! A fine ship, to be sure, but how is a prospective sailor to be sure the staterooms on Deck 6 are right for your crew?
Deck plans! That's how!
Lucky for you, there are deck plans for each ship in the fleet, that not only show stateroom locations, types, and layouts, but also all other Guest-accessible locations! From the main dining rooms,
Senses Spa & Salon, the pool decks, Cabanas, Marceline Market, Disney's Oceaneer Club, and more, you'll be able to see all of those magical locations in addition to what stateroom locations you may prefer! Simply select your ship from the dropdown menu, and then the deck you'd like to explore - and viola - you can click and drag to your heart's content to get your bearings!
Here's a planDrew-approved tip: if you find a stateroom you like on Deck 6, be sure to see what's directly beneath it on Deck 5. While the soundproofing in a Disney Cruise Line ship is better than any others I've sailed on, if you're a particularly light sleeper, I'd avoid any that are directly above an entertainment venue or
Disney's Oceaneer Club and Lab. I've never personally had an issue with noise, but as my wife can attest, that may be because I usually sleep like Flynn Rider after Rapunzel whacks him with her frying pan...
Hopefully, that information gives you quite a detailed map with which to set your course, Betty! Thank you so much for your question, and if you run into any rough seas while making your plans, please set a course back here to planDisney!
Fair winds and following seas!
