Hi Mandy, I'm planning a really big family vacation to Disney. The ages range from 7 to 80. Where is the best place to stay on property that could possibly accommodate an event for 50 and cater to the young and old?

Hey there, Angelle! Welcome to planDisney! I know that in Louisiana, the only thing more important than throwing an unforgettable party is family, so I couldn't be happier to help a fellow Louisianian plan a magical family reunion!

At Walt Disney World Resort, there is something for everyone - the kids and the kids at heart, so it is the perfect place to take a multi-generational vacation and hold an amazing family reunion! And during the holidays?! The magic level is going to be off the charts!

When planning Resort Hotel accommodations for a large party, you have a couple of options. One option is to book either one-bedroom (sleeps up to five Guests), two-bedroom (sleeps up to nine Guests) or three-bedroom (sleeps up to 12 Guests) Deluxe Villas. These Villas all have living rooms and fully equipped kitchens, so not only are they gorgeous, spacious and convenient, they make the perfect place for the whole family to come together to have a home-cooked dinner or just gab about the magical day. Another option is to book a block of rooms at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel at a group rate by calling (407) 939-1942. No matter where you choose to stay, your Resort Hotel will be decked for the holidays and will make the perfect setting for the entire family.

Now we are getting to the part that I am SO excited to chat about - the special event! Walt Disney World Resort is full of one-of-a-kind, fabulous venues that can be customized for any size and any type of event. I would start your planning with Disney Meetings & Events or Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons. Okay, okay, so I know you aren't planning a wedding, but hear me out on this one. I just recently attended a fabulous event for approximately 40 people during the holidays at Ariel's at Disney's Beach Club Resort, and it was nothing short of magical. The beautiful setting immediately transported me into an elegant, under-the-sea fairy tale. The food was delicious, the wine flowed freely, and the service was second to none. My top suggestion would be to stay at either Disney's Beach Club Resort or the adjacent Disney's Yacht Club Resort and to celebrate being together at Ariel's. Life is the bubbles under the sea, after all! However, that is just one suggestion, Angelle! There are countless wonderful options for you and your family to have an absolutely unforgettable family reunion.

Angelle, I am wishing you the most magical vacation at The Most Magical Place on Earth! Stop by any time with any more planning questions! Laissez les bons temps rouler, y'all!

I hope to see ya real soon!
