Hi Mandy M. Thanks for your ideas about our schedule for our 8days in Disney in January 2014. One question, why don't you include a waterpark?? Is it because it would be too cold? Because we wanted to do at least one waterpark. Thanks in advance

    Hi again, Alexandra!

I'm sorry I didn't include one of the two water parks in your itinerary for your upcoming vacation.  I was assuming that you meant one of the 4 parks per a day, but no worries because it can definitely be added. Blizzard Beach typically has its annual refurbishment done during the month of January when guest attendance is lower, but that still leaves you with the fabulous Typhoon Lagoon (which is my favorite of the two water parks).  Check back with us for updates on any refurbishments that may be happening during your vacation.

It can be a bit chilly in January for the water parks, you will probably want to check the forecast as your trip approaches to check for higher temperature days.  My suggestion is to visit in the afternoon as the early morning will most likely be too chilly for playing, especially getting in and out the water so often, average temperatures for January range from low 70's to upper 40's.  While I could pick a day to add this to your itinerary, it would probably be best to base it on the weather forecast as your vacation gets closer.  Fortunately, even with one of the water parks closed, the water parks are not particularly crowded this time of the year.

I'm so sorry about the mix up and hope this help with your planning, please let me know if I can help you with anything else!

    Kindest Regards,
    Mandy
