Hi Mandy! I adore the Riviera Resort and have enjoyed the grounds and dining. What size room is best for my family of three? They offer different configurations than other DVC resorts, I'd love your opinion on the best fit. Grazie, merci beaucoup!

Ciao and bonjour, Amy! Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so happy that you've stopped by with another great Disney vacation planning question!

Don't you just adore Disney's Riviera Resort?! Like you, I have yet to stay at this bellissimo European-inspired Disney Vacation Club Resort, but with its grand elegance, fantastic dining options, a fabulous pool for both kiddos and adults, and easy access to the convenient Disney Skyliner, it is on the top of my must-stay list! I, too, love leisurely roaming around the property, exploring the artwork and details of the gorgeous grounds, shopping for the latest Disney Vacation Club merchandise at La Boutique and dining at one of my new favorite restaurants in all of Walt Disney World Resort, Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera. My family is also a trio of Disney besties, Amy, so I'm thrilled to answer this question for you and yours!

Amy, you're absolutely right that Disney's Riviera Resort does offer one-of-a-kind accommodations that are unique to this Disney Vacation Club Resort - the Tower Studios. The Tower Studios were designed for luxurious efficiency and only sleep up to two people. For your family, I'd definitely recommend booking either a Deluxe Studio or a One-bedroom Villa. Since these rooms sleep up to five people, your family will have more than enough room for the three of you plus your luggage, your souvenirs and the artwork you'll inevitably want to purchase from the Resort! In a Deluxe Studio, you'll have a kitchenette, queen bed, pull-down queen bed and a pull-down single bed. If your kiddo is anything like mine, they will absolutely love sleeping in their very own single bed, and then the family can use the living area for relaxing and watching TV, instead of sleeping. In a One-bedroom Villa, you will have a fully equipped kitchen, a large, elegant dining and living room with the pull-down beds and a separate bedroom with a king-sized bed, giving you the luxury of more space, more privacy and the ability to cook some meals right in your villa. Either one of these options would be the perfect fit for your trio and would make the perfect home away from home for your family's next magical adventure together!

While staying at Disney's Riviera Resort, don't forget to stop in Le Petit Cafe for a coffee, snack, or cocktail! The fabulous desserts are almost too beautiful to eat! Almost. C'est magnifique!

Amy, I'm wishing you and your family the most magical vacation! Please stop by any time with any planning question! Ciao!

I hope to see ya real soon!
