I am managing the plans for a big family trip that is coming up. Someone in my group has two kids and is managing their plans. Is there a way to add them to my friends and family list so we can buy lightning lanes and keep the group together?

    Howdy Rachel!

Welcome to planDisney. It will be great to have your Ohana visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth. I know exactly how you feel about planning a large party, as I was helping a bunch of our family members who had never been to Walt Disney World get their accounts set up for our vacation together in January. I can certainly help you walk through getting everyone linked together.

Oke doke, here are the steps your family member managing their children’s plans needs to take to give you access to manage their plans as well. Have them log into their My Disney Experience account on the Walt Disney World website. Next, hover your cursor over the My Disney Experience tab and click on My Family and Friends. From the Guests You Manage page, click the Manage button next to the first child. Now, click the Family & Friends List and check whether your account is listed under the Connections list. If so, have them click the edit setting button and toggle on the button to allow you to view and modify plans. If you are not currently listed under the connections list, scroll down to the Let’s Your Connections Plan for list, find your name, and click the Sent Invite button. You will receive an email and notification on your My Disney Experience app to accept. Once this is done, have them return to the child's setting and verify that the view-and-modify toggle is enabled. Once this is complete, you can repeat these steps for the other child. Finally, I would go into your Friends & Family List to verify that they are now showing up in your list to manage. Once this is complete, you will be able to add them to any reservations or Lightning Lane Multi Pass experiences you would like.

Ok, so if you have time, I highly recommend hopping to EPCOT for the International Flower & Garden Festival.  This festival is really special because all of Epcot is decorated with the most amazing gardens and character topiaries.  Our family loves to stroll through the park and take pictures with all of the characters.  There are also lots of festival-exclusive dining options at the kiosks that I know you will love. You can also do a fun scavenger hunt, following Spike the Bee on his pollination trail. Spikes Pollen-Nation Exploration will be sure to keep the whole family busy as a bee.

Rachel, I hope that you and your family have a magical time visiting Walt Disney World. Please stop back by with any further questions you may have.

    See ya real soon,
    Robert
