MagicBand+ on the cruise makes it so easy to access your room, charge things to your stateroom, and is especially good for the little ones to check in and out of the
Oceaneer Club.
The best way to assign one of your MagicBands to her is to do so as you’re checking in at the port. As you’re checking in, a friendly cast member will scan a MagicBand to be associated with your daughter for that sailing. On several occasions, some members of my family were able to assign MagicBands during check-in, and some had to wait until we were on board. A quick stop by Guest Services cleared that up, and we were set to sail. The first time you visit the Oceaneer Club, there is a quick registration process, and the crew member will make sure her MagicBand scans properly and that all is well before letting her explore the club.
If something goes awry, the crew members at Oceaneer Club will loan your daughter a MagicBand to use for the duration of the cruise. One way or another, you and your daughter will be covered.
For your own MagicBand+, you can link it to your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App ahead of time. Once you’re logged in, just go to the “Already Booked” button on the main menu. You can then navigate to “DisneyBand+ and More.” Click on the button that says “Link” and follow the prompts.
