Hi! I've just managed to get a spot to run the Star Wars 5k, we leave for our cruise that same day though! Could you tell me what time do races usually finish? Will I be free to leave by about 9am? I just couldn't miss the opportunity to runDisney!

    Hi, Sarah!

Welcome to The Dark Side! When participating in this 5K race, there is no specific time you are required to stay until. Once you've completed your race, walked through the runners chute to receive your medallion, water, PowerAde and Fitful Nutrition Box, you will enter the family reunion area and are free to go!

The race starts with the first corral of runners hitting the course at 6:00am, it generally takes about 30 minutes to get all runners on the course. What time you finish will depend on what time you start and how fast you run. Even if you were the last runner on the course and only ran at the required 18 minute per mile pace, you'd still be done in under an hour from when you started - so well before 9:00am.

I hope this helps, Sarah! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Bon Voyage, you lucky Droid!
