Hi Adrienne,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited you have made a breakfast reservation at
The Crystal Palace before the Magic Kingdom Park opens attractions for the day. My family and I have enjoyed many memorable breakfasts at The Crystal Palace. There is a great variety of delicious food and we always love catching up with our friends from the Hundred Acre Woods. I think it's possible you will be done by 9 A.M. but I would hate for you to rush through a great meal.
Currently,
Magic Kingdom Park allows guests to enter the park and enjoy Main Street, U.S.A. one hour before the park officially opens. If the park opens at 9 A.M. then you can enter at 8 A.M. and enjoy the shops and ambiance of Main Street, U.S.A. Since you have a breakfast reservation at 8:20 A.M., it's possible you could enter a tiny bit earlier. If I were you, I would be at the entrance of the Magic Kingdom Park by 7:55 A.M. As long as you get to your reservation on time and are ready to be seated, the meal should not take too long since it is a buffet. There is always a chance that the characters may take a little longer. After all, they do have so many friends to visit with during breakfast and Eeyore isn't exactly speedy. If all of the stars align, hopefully, you will be finished and ready to explore the park at 9 A.M.
Adrienne, thank you for visiting us with your question. I hope you will let us know if we can help you with any other planning questions before your visit.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Amy H.
