I managed to buy the NSSHP tickets to late to get them for Oct 31 and am trying to decide what to do with my kids for that day; parks or plan to hang out at our hotel (AOA)? Do you know if the hotel does special events because it is a "holiday"?

Hello Brennan, thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I also have tickets for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party on the 31st, I am so excited.  Our plans for the day are to relax poolside in the morning, have a fun lunch at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop and then get ready for the party.  My daughter is 8 and I know she will be able to make it till the party's end at midnight if we have a relaxing morning.  By not going to a park in the morning, I am also able to stretch our park tickets further during our vacation.  I would base what you do during the day on how old your kids are, you don't want to wear them out before you even get to the party.  Right now, there are no "official" Halloween activities announced at any of the resorts but I would definitely ask about it when you check in.

I hope this helps.  If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
