Hi. I managed to get a 2 bedroom BWV garden/pool view for Food & Wine this year. I was wondering what are the best locations in that category for room requests as far as view & location? Taking in-laws for first trip and want it to be magical. THX!

    Hi Casey,

Having a two-bedroom villa at Disney's BoardWalk Villas during the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival is amazing.  You will be close to the action at the festival - just a quick walk or boat ride away.  There are many options for pool and garden views at Disney's BoardWalk Villas, and each offers something unique.

I have stayed in villas with a view of Luna Park Pool.  I like this view, as Luna Park Pool offers something dynamic to look at throughout the day.  At night, you should know that the eyes of the clown on the Keister Coaster light up, so if anyone in your traveling party is unhappy with clowns, this might not be the best choice.  There are also villas which face the quiet pool, closer to Disney's Hollywood Studios.  These offer a more tranquil view.  I have stayed in a villa which faced across the canal to the Walt Disney World Disney's Swan and Dolphin hotels, which was a peaceful view.  I think that villas on the higher floors have nicer views as you can see farther.  As to location, that depends on what you think you will be doing the most.  If you plan to head to Epcot most often, you would want a villa closer to the lobby, which would mean a canal view closer to the lobby or a Luna Park view room.  If you were going to head to Disney's Hollywood Studios most often, you would want a canal view closer to Disney's Hollywood Studios or a quiet pool view.

It is generally best to request villas with a description rather than specific villa number.  That way, the cast member knows what type of view you want if a specific villa is not available.  Please do note that while Disney will do their best to honor all requests, they are not guaranteed.

Have a wonderful time planning your vacation, Casey, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
