How do I manage a family member in my list

Welcome to planDisney, Tamra! Thank you so much for reaching out with your question. How exciting that you’re planning your next Walt Disney World Resort visit and getting everything organized in your My Disney Experience account! I’d be happy to help you understand how to manage a family member on your Family & Friends list so you can keep everyone’s plans perfectly connected and ready for all the magic ahead.

To manage a family member in your Family & Friends list on My Disney Experience, you can do so through either the website or the mobile app, and both options make it easy to view, update, or adjust your connections.

If you’re using the website, begin by logging into your Disney account. From there, hover over “My Disney Experience” at the top right of the page and select “My Family & Friends List.” This page will show everyone currently connected to your account. Next to each name, you’ll find an “Update” option, which lets you edit details, adjust what plans you share, or remove them from your list if needed. If you originally created that person’s profile, you’ll have the ability to manage their information directly. You can also scroll down to add a new guest, which is great for connecting friends or family who may be joining your trip.

If you’re using the My Disney Experience app, open it and tap the menu icon in the lower corner. Then, select “My Profile” and choose the “Family & Friends List” tab. Here you’ll see your connected group, and by tapping a person’s name, you can edit their profile, update sharing settings, or remove them if necessary.

It’s helpful to know that if you created someone’s profile under your account, like a child or another guest without their own Disney login, you’re considered the “profile manager.” This means you can link tickets, make dining and Lightning Lane selections, and handle all their plans. If that person later creates their own Disney account, you can easily transfer management to them so they can take control of their plans moving forward.

Tamra, I hope this information helps you feel confident and ready to manage your Family & Friends list with ease as you prepare for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Thank you for visiting planDisney with your question. Wishing you and your family an unforgettable Disney adventure filled with laughter, wonder, and countless memories that will last a lifetime!
