    Hi Katie --

Thanks for coming to the Panel for advice on your 1st Disney vacation!

Choosing which days to visit each park has always been one of my biggest challenges.  I'm always afraid I'll pick the wrong park to go to.  It's kind of like choosing the checkout lane at the grocery store; I always get stuck behind the slowest people.  What I have found is that there are several websites that offer opinions on this, and they are ALL different!

One thing most people agree on is that Magic Kingdom is usually very crowded on Saturday, and Hollywood Studios is most crowded on Sundays.  Are you staying on property?  If your little one is an early bird, I recommend taking advantage of the extra magic hours in the morning.  You can cover a lot of ground in that extra hour.  If you're not staying on property, or if you are late risers, I recommend avoiding parks that have extra magic hours.

Having said all of that, here is a list of parks I would choose to visit on each day.

    • Saturday, March 28 - If  you have time for a park on this day, I recommend wandering around Epcot and taking in the sights.
    • Sunday, March 29 - Magic Kingdom
    • Monday, March 30 - Hollywood Studios
    • Tuesday, March 31 - Magic Kingdom
    • Wednesday, April 1 - Animal Kingdom
    • Thursday, April 2 - Epcot
    • Friday, April 3 - Animal Kingdom or Epcot
Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
