    When making shirts for family members only, can you put your school name on a shirt with Disney Mickey heads and Disney Font and wear them the day the school band is marching in the parade at Magic Kingdom?

    I'm so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

    What fun you'll have when you visit Walt Disney World Resort to see one of your family members perform along the Magic Kingdom Park parade route. My daughter has lots of friends in the marching band at her high school, and she and I drove down to see them perform in the park last year. It was so much fun, and we were so proud of how awesome they looked and sounded marching down Main Street U.S.A.!

    Guests are more than welcome to design fun Disney-themed shirts to wear to support their school bands when they perform. In fact, we did just that when we visited last April. You'll see when you visit that lots of families design matching shirts to wear in the parks - I love seeing all the different designs people come up with!

    Here's some tips about great viewing spots for the parade: some of our spectators found a spot on the balcony of the Walt Disney World Railroad Station - Main Street U.S.A., and were able to get video of the band from the moment they began marching, around Town Square, and as they headed down Main Street. It's a bird's eye view, and the videos turned out great! The rest of us positioned ourselves at the center of the hub in front of the castle, in front of the Partners Statue (statue of Walt and Mickey). If you ask a Cast Member ahead of time, they can tell you where the ropes will be put up for the parade. That was a great spot! We were able to get lots of great photos of them marching down Main Street and also some with the castle as the backdrop. Hope this helps!
