Welcome to planDisney, Barbara! It's a pleasure to have you stop by!
Guests planning to have a spooktacular time at
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are required to purchase a separate party ticket, even if you already have a regular theme park ticket or vacation package. So, if you are planning to purchase a two-day, one-park-per-day ticket as part of your
Walt Disney World vacation package, you can use one of those regular tickets to visit a park earlier in the day before heading to
Magic Kingdom for the party that evening.
Many guests take advantage of this by spending the morning at
EPCOT,
Disney's Hollywood Studios, or
Disney's Animal Kingdom, and then using their Halloween Party ticket to enter Magic Kingdom at 4:00pm. This strategy not only helps spread out your park time but also saves your Magic Kingdom visit for a less crowded, extra-magical night.
Entering at 4 PM gives you a solid three hours before the party starts at 7:00pm, which is the perfect time to ride attractions that won’t be open during the party,
grab dinner, or knock out some shopping. Once the event kicks off, you’ll be able to enjoy shorter lines, Halloween-themed entertainment, trick-or-treating, character sightings, and the one-of-a-kind "Mickey’s Boo-To-You" Parade.
If you need help figuring out which park to visit that morning or how to make the most of your party night, I'm happy to help with that, too. Have a frightfully fun time!
Toodles,
Korliss
