Hi! We are making reservations at at the Royal Table and Akershus on the week of December 18th. We aren't going to do the Christmas party on the 18th so I was wondering which of the two restaraunts would be better to go to that evening around 6:00? Thanks

    Hi Jessica!

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will be in full swing by 7pm at the Magic Kingdom.  If you have a park hopper and can go to another park, or if you plan on turning in early for the night, then I don't think it matters.  If however, you want to stay late in a theme park, then definitely have dinner at Epcot!  If you have dinner in Cinderella Castle, you will have to leave the Magic Kingdom as soon as your dinner is over.  Based on past experiences, party goers will have a wristband showing that they're guests of the party; without the wristbands, you will be directed towards the exit.

By the way, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a lot of fun.  The special parade and fireworks are also fabulous.  If you've never been to the party before, you might want to reconsider!  I've always enjoyed it myself!
