Hi Rahul! Thanks for visiting planDisney.
I have good news for you: With a standard admission ticket, the name on the ticket won't matter and there's no need to reassign the ticket. With tickets that require a government-issued photo ID, the name on the ticket needs to match the Guest, but otherwise, so long as you have the right number of adult tickets in the group, no one will check that the name matches the Guest. Instead, as the Cast Member at the entrance scans your tickets, they will take a quick photo of each Guest. This photo identifies the Guest as the ticket user going forward, rather than the name.
While there's no need to change the name if your ticket doesn't require identification, if it bothers you, you can call a helpful Cast Member on the
Tickets phone line who can assist you in reassigning the ticket names. This is also the dedicated phone line to call if your tickets require identification and a mistake has been made in assigning tickets. It's not a change you can make yourself, unfortunately, but they're always happy to help in whatever way they can. I've called to reassign a ticket and it was a really easy fix, so never fear. Have your ticket ID numbers ready or the MyDisney account the tickets were purchased under ready to go so they can access your information quickly. There may be a short way on the line before you're assisted.
I know you're going to have the best time! There's so much to explore in the parks, including
Pixar Fest, which extends through the summer. This celebration features a nighttime spectacular, a parade, special Character appearances, themed menu items, and cute merchandise. You won't want to miss any of it!
Have a magical time.
