We are making our reservations for the All Star Sports resort, what is the difference in the "standard" and "preferred" rooms?

    Hey, Jennetta-

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love this question because it can really make a difference in your experience.

Rooms at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort come in two flavors: Standard and Preferred. Preferred are different from standard rooms because preferred rooms place you very close to one or more of these: the lobby (Stadium Hall), the pool or bus transportation. This reduces your walk to the most common areas of the Resort.

Disney Dad Tip: Being close to the food and transportation is a big deal. We prefer not walking any extra especially after a long day at the theme parks. If you have the extra money to spend, it will cost you about $20.00 more per night (prices subject to change based on demand and time of year) for this convenience.

Please let us know if there is anything else we may do to help you plan your wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

Jennetta, enjoy making many Magical Memories!
