As I was making the reservations for my family to enter the parks on specific days, my sisters name automatically auto corrected. How can I change that?

    Hiya, Sydney! Welcome to planDisney!

I’m so glad you stopped by with your question—and I’m even more excited that your Disneyland Resort adventure is less than two months away! The countdown is officially on, and I’ll bet you can already imagine the joy of walking down Main Street, U.S.A., soaking up all the Halloween Time enchantment. It’s wonderful you’re getting your reservations in order now, because a little planning goes a long way in making your Disney days practically perfect.

Now, about that sneaky auto-correct. No worries—this happens more often than you’d think! And, hey… I get it! My own name gets auto-corrected to ‘Cory’ all the time, so I know how funny these little mix-ups can be. The names on the tickets are mostly there to help families and groups stay organized in the Disneyland mobile app. What really matters is that your sister uses her own ticket when entering the park. Once she scans through the gates, her photo will be taken, and that picture becomes the true identifier linked to her ticket. After that, she’ll be all set for the rest of your visit—no matter what the app decided to rename her!

That said, if you’d prefer to fix the name, it’s totally possible. The quickest option is to call the Disneyland Resort Tickets phone line, where a Cast Member can help in just a few minutes. If you’d rather take care of it in person, you can also stop by a ticket booth near the Main Entrance Esplanade on the day of your visit. Either way, the process is quick and simple!

Since you’re visiting soon, Sydney, here are a couple of extra tips to help you get ready: make sure everyone in your group has the Disneyland app downloaded and tickets linked so you can make plans together, including Lightning Lane selections if you purchased Lightning Lane Multi Pass. It’s also a good idea to double-check the “Future Plans” section of the app before your trip—you’ll see your park reservations and any dining reservations all in one handy spot. That way, you can spend less time worrying about logistics and more time enjoying Dole Whip and nighttime spectaculars.

Sydney, I hope this gives you peace of mind so you can keep the countdown fun and stress-free. Wishing you and your family an incredible trip filled with laughter, memories, and a sprinkle of Disney magic around every corner!
