Hey Howdy Hey Sam and welcome to planDisney!
Thank you so much for your question, the technicalities of the 60-day rule for advanced dining reservations can be tough and a lot of people share this concern as well. Let's break this down and get you ready for the big 60-day dining reservation day!
With
advanced dining reservations, the 60-day rule applies to those that are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel or are staying at a participating Good Neighbor resort that has this benefit. As long as this is the case, the 60-day rule is really as 60-day plus 10.
This means you can make your advanced dining reservations starting 60 days from your date of arrival for 10 days in total of your trip. So say your 60-days start on a Monday, you have that Monday and 10 days in the future to make your dining reservations. So as long as your trip is 10 days or less, then YES you will be able to make advanced dining reservations for the whole trip!
Make sure you are ready to go at 6:00 a.m. EST on the 60-day mark, which is when this window opens, to get the best chances at your top picks. You can make these reservations either on your
My Disney Experience account online or through your
My Disney Experience app, whichever is more convenient for you.
This is also the time you can book your experience with
Disney's Enchanting Extras Collection as well. I would highly advise you to look into
Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Parties or either the
Spice Road Table or
Rose & Crown Fireworks Dining Packages in EPCOT for special seating and a fantastic meal for the Harmonious Firework show.
I hope I was able to clear this up for you. Good luck with your future planning and making all of your advanced dining reservations. Please feel free to let us know if you have any further questions, we are happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Nick
