When making reservations for dinning I was told the party size limit is set at 8 due to Covid. I was just wanting to see if this is still the case as we have a party of 9, and would like to all be together if possible instead of being split up in 2 groups?

    Howdy Kristina!

Welcome to planDisney!  Visiting the Walt Disney World Resort with a larger party is always filled with “Memories to Last a Lifetime!”  Thank you for sharing your question with us!

It looks like your window to score some yummy Walt Disney World Resort dining experiences is quickly approaching!  Since you are visiting the place “Where Dreams Come True” with a party of nine, you will need to call the Walt Disney World Resort and speak with a Cast Member in dining.  The Cast Member will be able to find the best options for a party of nine.  I recently booked dining for an upcoming trip, and I will be traveling with a party of nine also.  I called as soon as the phones opened (currently 7:00 A.M. Eastern) and scored almost all the dining experiences I wanted.  The Cast Member may divide you into multiple tables in a comparable time, but Hakuna Matata, No Worries!  Arrive a little early to each of your dining reservations, let the Cast Members at the entrance know which reservations are together, and they will do their very best to seat everyone close and in a timely manner.  A few months ago, I visited the Walt Disney World Resort with a party of ten, and even though we were divided into three separate tables, the Cast Members were able to seat all of us at the same table for most of our reservations.  You need to be one of the first callers the morning that your advanced dining reservation window opens!

With all the EARidescent excitement that will fill the air during your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort for the 50th anniversary, I know you will want to see and do everything!  Oh boy, oh boy!  I cannot wait to see all the festivities that Mickey and his pals are planning!  To stay informed of everything, as announcements are made for this once-in-a-lifetime 18-month celebration, go to “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” and “Sign Up!”

The Disney Parks Blog is another great way to learn about everything to see and do during your upcoming visit to Neverland!  If you have any more questions as you continue to plan your vacation, please come back to planDisney!  We are always here to help with all your planning questions to make your vacation unforgettable, Kristina!
