    I am making reservations for December and we want to do the Christmas party one night we are at Disney. How do I add that when I'm making the reservation before it is available?

    Hello Andrea! Let me be the first to wish you a Merry Christmas! I love the holiday decorations at the Walt Disney World Resort! Especially, those at Magic Kingdom for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party!

    You shared you’ll be visiting in early December 2026. That will put you right in the middle of the Christmas party season! Tickets for the 2025 Christmas party went on sale on July 16 for Guests with existing Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservations and/or vacation packages. They went on sale on July 22 for all other Guests. My best guess is that ticket sales for the 2026 Christmas party will go on sale in July 2026.

    As long as you have booked your vacation by the sale date, you will be eligible to purchase tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party when they officially go on (early) sale for Guests with existing hotel and/or vacation packages! I anticipate some news in June 2026 for party dates and ticket sale announcements! Check the Disney Parks Blog and Walt Disney World Resort website for updates!

    Andrea, here is a Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party PRO TIP for you! The party traditionally kicks off at 7:00 PM on party nights, but ticketholders can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 PM! I strongly recommend taking advantage of those three extra hours! It is a great perk of the Christmas party!
