When making reservations at your 180 day out mark, can you make reservations for a party larger than your resort party? We will be eating with another family of 4 and would like to make reservations for all 8 of us.

    HI Charles!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

My husband always jokes that the 180-day mark before our Walt Disney World vacation is like my Christmas morning!  I get so excited and set my alarm to start making my reservations the minute they open up.

You can definitely make your reservation for a larger party.  In fact, you don't even need a resort reservation to make dining reservations at Walt Disney World.  Advanced Dining Reservations are open to everyone. You can make them online, through the My Disney Experience app or by calling 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463).

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions, and Happy Planning!
