When making reservations or buying tickets, we have to reserved for both parks? There is no reservation for only Disneyland Resort?

    Hey there, Diana!

It's so fun to see you here at planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question.

I can imagine you're getting so excited to visit the Disneyland Resort theme parks! You're correct that you will need to make a theme park reservation using the Theme Park Reservation system to visit Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Reservations are made for the theme parks rather than for Disneyland Resort as a whole Resort.

When you are making your theme park reservation with the Theme Park Reservation system, keep in mind that Guests are able to make one theme park reservation per Guest, per day.

If you have a Park Hopper ticket, you could make a theme park reservation for the first theme park you want to visit in a day, visit that park, and then you could hop to the other park that same day starting at 1 p.m. You'll want to check the Disneyland Resort Mobile App for the latest information on Park Hopper hours.

Diana, you'll want to take a look at the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar before you make your ticket purchase. This will help you check to see that the theme park has availability on the dates you wish to visit.

Diana, I hope this information is helpful as you plan your visit. If you'd like additional assistance with the Theme Park Reservation system, you can reach out to the Disneyland Resort Website Support team at (714) 520-6222.

Here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
