After making reservations to build lightsaber/droids and building them, can we walk around with them in the park and then later ask them to be shipped home? My siblings want to experience the droids personalities. (P.S. We will not be staying at resorts.)

    Bright Suns, Didenur!

Sounds like you are flying to Batuu soon! Watch out for the First Order. Stormtroppers sometimes roam even this remote outpost.

On my last visit to Epcot, I found the perfect replica of Spaceship Earth in the form of a cookie jar. I was able to ship it home directly from the shop. At Droid Depot, let a Cast Member know at the time of purchase you intend to send your guys home after enjoying a little droid interaction, I believe there would no problem returning later to see that your souvenirs are safely mailed. Part of the droid fun is experiencing their interactions in Black Spire Outpost.

Savi's Workshop-Handbuilt Lightsabers is not a shipping spot, so you will need to send your creation from the Droid Depot or Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities, so you are free to walk around Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge with your Jedi weapon until you are ready to mail it home.

Wishing a smooth journey through hyperspace!
