when making reservations when it asks for a credit card how do I bypass that since I'm on the dining plan? Or do I still need to give my credit card just in case we don't make it.I've heard Cinderellas royal table charges the full meal price on even on ddp

    Hi Jennifer!

Yes, you will need to give your credit card number as a guarantee when making Advanced Dining Reservations at most Walt Disney World Table Service restaurants even if you have purchased a Disney Dining Plan or you are planning on purchasing one. There really is no way to bypass this requirement.  All you have to do is to tell your waiter or waitress that you have the Disney Dining Plan (they will most likely ask you when you are seated or before they take your order if you have a Disney Dining Plan). This credit card hold is to secure your Advanced Dining Reservations and your credit card will be charged $10.00 per person if you fail to show up or fail to cancel 24 hours before your Advanced Dining Reservation. Some restaurants like Cinderella's Royal Table, Character Dining Experiences, or Dinner Shows for example, require the price of the whole meal to be charged to your credit card upon booking the Advanced Dining Reservation and then if you use Dining Plan Credits to pay for your meal, your credit card will be refunded for the cost of the previously charged meal.

I hope that all of your meals are magical on your next Walt Disney World vacation!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
