When making a reservation for a resort stay online, how do you request multiple rooms? There is only the option to enter dates, number of people, and ages of children. I would like to have connecting rooms, but can’t figure out how to achieve this.

Hi there William, and welcome to planDisney!

It sounds like you'll be traveling with a whole pack of hyenas on your upcoming adventure. Hakuna Matata! We've got you covered. As far as I'm concerned, the more the merrier when it comes to a Walt Disney World vacation, and in just a couple of weeks, I'll be visiting with my whole pride! Extended family trips are so much fun, and I bet you're as excited as Simba when he just couldn't wait to be king.

When you need multiple rooms or vacation packages for your stay, you must reserve each one separately, one at a time. You can either do this online or by calling (407) 939-5277. In your case, I recommend booking over the phone so you can add the request for connecting rooms to the reservation right away. Keep in mind that your request for connecting rooms is not guaranteed, but I find Cast Members do what they can to meet Guests' needs. Connecting rooms can be especially convenient when traveling with little cubs; it's nice to have a quiet space for them to nap, while the grownups spend time together in the adjoining room (with the door ajar, of course!).

I hope this is helpful, William. You'll be visiting during the World's Most Magical Celebration, so be sure to stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog and official social media accounts as the 18-month event gets underway this October. Thanks for sending your question to us, and don't hesitate to reach out if anything else comes up.
