After making a reservation, do all of the people in your reservation party have to attend to avoid a no show point? If 2 out of 4 people enter the park for a reservation, is that enough to avoid the no show for that reservation?

Hey there, hi there, Hector! Welcome to planDisney. You've brought us a great planning question!

I know that parts of planning a visit can become overwhelming when you want to make sure every detail is sorted out ahead of time. While I hope that everyone in your party will be able to enjoy a visit together, I know plans change. The reservation system works a little differently for Magic Key holders and Guests with tickets and I am not sure which would apply to you.

If you are using a theme park ticket or Magic Key pass, you can modify or cancel theme park reservations leading up to the day before your visit. Ticketed Guests are not penalized for not showing up on your reservation day. If possible it is recommended to cancel your reservation so that spots open up for other Guests hoping to visit that day. Magic Key holders do have a system in place for no-shows. Even if two people show up out of four Magic Key holders who made reservations together, the two who did not show up would receive a no-show if they were Magic Key holders. The penalty does not come until three no-shows in a 90-day period happen. Then the Magic Key holder would be blocked from making any new reservations for 30 days.

Hector, I hope this clears things up for you and you can get back to planning your next visit. If you have any other questions for us, you know where to find us!
