Hey there, Michael. Welcome to
planDisney.
Congratulations on planning a trip to the
Most Magical Place On Earth. Walt Disney World is truly something special and I just know that you are going to make memories that will last your lifetime!
When you book a
Walt Disney World vacation package that includes a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel stay and Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets, you will still need to go through the process of making your park pass reservations selections. Park pass reservations are basically like a virtual placeholder in line at the theme park you'd like to visit each day.
Once you've purchased your vacation package and it is linked to your
MyDisneyExperience account, you can then begin to make your park pass reservation selections. Here's how to do it:
- Visit the park pass reservation website
- Login to your MyDisneyExperience account if prompted
- Select if you are making your selections with an annual pass or theme park tickets
- Then select the people who will be joining you each day
- Select a date on the calendar
- Select a theme park
- If there is availability you will be taken to a confirmation page and have the option to make a selection for a different day
You'll need to make selections for each day of your Walt Disney World vacation, Michael. If you decide to upgrade your Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets to include the park hopper option, you'll only need to make park pass reservations for the first park you'd like to visit each day. Park hopping hours now start at 2:00 p.m. and once you've visited the park with the park pass reservations you're free to visit any of the other theme parks later in the day.
I hope this helps, Michael. If you have more questions about this, or anything else, please stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help!
Happy planning!
