    Will be making res in a couple weeks for May at POFQ. Would like to be close to the main buildings, bus stops, & pool. Room choices on line don't really state what I shoudl choose to get these areas. Can you advise what I shold choose?

    Port Orleans French Quarter is one of my family's favorite places to stay!  We love the cozy feel and you can't beat the boat ride to Downtown Disney!

    I find the best rooms to be in buildings 3 and 4.  These are standard rooms, no water or pool views, but you are just a short walk away from the pool, and steps away from the lobby and bus stop.   During your online check-in, you will want to request "close to transportation".   You can also send a fax to the resort a few days prior to your vacation with your specific building request.  My ideal room for convenience is building 4, close to the lobby, first floor.  Others prefer upper level rooms to avoid noise from foot traffic, but my kids love to run out the door to play so we find the first floor to be the most convenient.  Remember that requests are noted but not guaranteed. 

    You are going to love this resort!  Have a great time and make sure to stop by the bakery to get some fresh Beignets!   Enjoy!
