Making plans to go to WDW for 3-4 days and go on a 3 day Disney Cruise in Feb 2012. Is it possible to buy a Disney Photopass that would cover both events? Have used Photopass in past and was real happy.

    Hi, Bryan!

Congratulations on your Disney "Surf & Turf" Vacation -- Walt Disney World (WDW) and Disney Cruise Line (DCL) make for such the perfect combination of "oooohh" and "aaaahhh!"

Disney's PhotoPass Service at the parks and DCL's Shutters Photography Service on board the ships operate independently of each other and presently do not offer a cooperative prepay or combination offer. The CDs which contain all your professionally-made photos during a cruise sometime vary in price depending on the ship and the itinerary, but the last time I sailed, the cost of the CD for a 3-day cruise was $249.95. In addition, sometimes deals, offers and giveaways are promoted once you're on the ship. Thoroughly read your Personal Navigator for the latest information.

The service works pretty much the same way in that almost as soon as you receive your stateroom key upon check in at the terminal you're presented with opportunities to have your picture taken by professional photographers.  Your stateroom key keeps up with those photos and locates them at Shutters. Obviously, the more photos you take...the more cost-efficient the CD becomes.

I hope this helps you plan. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
