I am making plans for the end of the year. We would like to celebrate new years in Disneyland. What would there hours be on 12/31. We would be going 12/30 and 12/31.

    Hi ya, Melissa!

I'm excited to welcome you to planDisney! I can't think of a better way to welcome a new year than with a Disneyland Resort visit. Let's get ready to celebrate!

You can find park hours on the Disneyland Website or in the Disneyland Mobile App. The schedule is usually available about six weeks in advance, so we don't have official details on the hours for your travel dates just yet. However, I'll share that my past experience has been that Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park usually get a little extra pixie dust on those days and the ball often lasts beyond midnight. Cinderella has to be happy about that!

I'm hoping the Disney Parks Blog will share some festive "Happy New Year" details with us later this year. I know that past celebrations have brought special food options, extra entertainment, and more! Long days in the park are always an adventure, so I would recommend dressing in layers and renting a locker early in the day (you can visit it as often as you need to all day) so you can store sweatshirts, snacks, and whatever else you need to have a great day in the parks. I also expect those days to be pretty busy, so make sure you purchase your park tickets and make park reservations as soon as those dates open. You can usually make reservations around 120 days in advance.

Melissa, I hope the rest of 2023 is totally amazing for you! Finishing off the year at Disneyland Park is a magical idea, so if there's anything I can do to help you plan just let me know!

    Keep moving forward!
