    Making plans for Art of Animation Family Suites. If free DDP is offered, it would be the Quick Service Plan for a Value Resort. Would I be able to upgrade to the Deluxe Dining Plan, skipping the Standard Dining Plan, and just pay difference between DDPs?

    I can't say for sure, April, because the conditions can vary between promotions.  What I can tell you, though, is that in the past, when Disney has offered free dining promotions, guests have been permitted to upgrade.  My advice to you would be to watch for the free dining promotion.  If and when it is offered, call 407-WDW-STAY for all the booking details and to see whether or not you would be permitted to upgrade to the deluxe dining plan.  Good luck!
