Hi! So, as I was making my packing list(for August, yes we are excited!!) my daughter brought up a good point on the topic of comfy shoes to wear in park... Uggs are suppose to adjust to temp of feet. Are uggs something that anyone has ever worn in parks?

    Hi Janette,

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your question.  I can totally relate to being excited, we are traveling to Walt Disney World Resort in August as well, and I have already made a detailed itinerary for our stay!

Bringing appropriate footwear is essential when traveling to Walt Disney World Resort, you will be touring around the theme parks for hours on end.  I have brought my UGGS to Walt Disney World, but when I visited in December.   Keep in mind that August in Orlando is incredibly hot, and you want to make sure you are as comfortable and as cool as possible.  I generally pack sandals and flip flops, to let my feet breathe, and remain comfortable.  I will throw a pair of running shoes in my suitcase just in case my feet need a break.  Choosing footwear to bring with you on your vacation is a personal choice, I would suggest that you pack the shoes you will be able to wear for long periods of time!  If you wear your UGGS in the summertime, you may be comfortable wearing them in the Theme Parks, but I think you may get a little warm.

I hope that answers your question Janette.  Please let me know if you need any more help with your packing list or planning in general.  I would be happy to help!
