We are making our way to Orlando Sept 2-9 with our 2 y/o son. This is our first family trip and to Disney. We are staying at the HIlton at Seaworld. We want to go to AK (1 day) and MK (2 days) ,is a 3 day pass sufficient, we figure 1 day park, 1 day off

    Hello Sara!

I think your plan works, especially given the time you'll need to factor in when traveling to and from an off-site hotel.  To do that four days in a row with a little one would be tough.  We take a day off on all of our vacations to visit the pool, relax, and recharge.

I always recommend two days to really explore Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park can definitely be done in one day with a two-year old.  Make sure you save time to visit The Boneyard at Animal Kingdom.  It's a great place to let the little ones run around and burn off some energy.  There is a great "fossil" pit for the kids to dig in (not to worry-the ground is made of tiny stones that wipe right off little feet and hands for no-mess fun) and make sure to stomp on the big dinosaur tracks on the ground for a fun surprise!

Please let us know if you have any other questions, Sara.

    Have a magical day,
    Ashley
