    I will be making all lightening lane reservations from my phone. If my party wants to do different lightening lane rides and split up, how do they scan in for their ride?

    Hi there, Marci. Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by to share your question with us. Woohoo! Your visit to the Disneyland Resort is practically here and I'm so excited for you. 

    I'm so glad to hear that you will be summoning the phenomenal cosmic powers of Disney Genie+ Service to help you stay "one jump head." All that is needed to scan into the Lightning Lane entrance is your theme park ticket. As long as each person has their theme park ticket in the Disneyland app, they can use that to scan in. To add tickets to their app, tap on the "☰" to open the menu, followed by tapping the "Tickets and Passes" tile. Next, tap the "+" in the upper right and then "Link Tickets & Passes." Here you can easily use the "camera" feature to scan the ticket barcode to add the ticket to the app.

    Each person can also use a MagicBand+ that is linked to their theme park ticket to scan into Lightning Lane entrances. I love the convenience of using my MagicBand+ for Lightning Lane entrances and not having to reach for my phone. It's also fun to see my MagicBand+ interact with some of the attractions.
