We are making our first WDW visit next week. The weather forecast says that it supposed to rain most of the time. Are there limitations as to what attractions, rides, etc. that are open?

Hi Tina! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I'm so happy to hear that you will be vacationing at the Walt Disney World Resort next week! I know you will have a wonderful first visit!

It has been a rainy May, for sure! But I'm happy to report that it doesn't limit much activity at "The Most Magical Place on Earth." Most rides and attractions continue operating, with the occasional delay for really heavy rain on some outdoor rides or for lightning in the area. If there is rain at the time of parades or firework displays, you may find that these cannot take place, but most attractions are still open for business!

Some of my favorite moments during our vacations have been during rainy days. The crowds are sometimes lower because of the weather, but we just bring our ponchos (these are also available for purchase in the theme parks) and continue enjoying our adventure. A lot of the attractions are indoors which helps us have fun despite the weather, as well!

Enjoy every memorable moment of your visit, Tina! Please let us know if you have any other last-minute planning questions!
