Hi, Chris!
I’m so happy to hear you’re planning your first visit to the Disneyland Resort! There’s so much magic to discover, especially during the holiday season. Goofy’s Kitchen is a great choice for breakfast at your hotel. In addition to buffet-style breakfast food, it also offers made-to-order omelets, many desserts, a soft serve sundae bar and food choices specifically for kids.
Blue Bayou is my favorite restaurant in Disneyland Park, serving Cajun- and Creole-style food. It’s located inside the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, and the gently-lit “outdoor” atmosphere is like no other dining experience in the park. I like the Monte Cristo sandwich at lunchtime along with a Mint Julep, the signature drink of New Orleans Square!
Plaza Inn is a Victorian-themed restaurant on Main Street, U.S.A. It’s also the home of one of my favorite quick-service meals, the fried chicken! In addition to the famous chicken, they also serve pot roast, pasta with your choice of sauce, and a selection of desserts.
Be sure to try Flo’s V8 Café in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park, which features classic American cuisine with a fresh spin. My go-to meal is one of the home-style rotisserie classics, and if you have room for dessert, their single-serving fruit pies are amazing! The décor is inspired by the timeless drive-up diners along Route 66, so take a seat on the patio or in a bright dining room to take in a spectacular view of the Cadillac Mountain Range as cars speed by on the Radiator Springs Racers attraction!

Wishing you magic,
Courtney
